This product goes by many names – Runner’s Butter, Magic Butter, All Purpose Butter! A soothing, combination of cocoa butter, jojoba oil, beeswax and extra virgin coconut oil, this is a transformative skin treatment is sumptuous in any season, but really stands out in winter! Cocoa butter heals and moisturizes, golden jojoba oil is a natural anti-oxidant, highly penetrating and closely resembles the sebum in our skin, extra virgin coconut oil smells like fresh coconuts and is healing for dry, itchy, sensitive skin. One of our beta testers had this to say after using it before a snowy run: “Tnx Beth for the runners butter! I smeared it all over my face–no wind burn here. Beth makes great products.” Until we formally launch this product, we are making it available in our no frills packing option – just a plain white jar with the product name written on the cap. Inspired by all the amazing butter blends prepared by Stacy and her friends at a body butter party on Saturday, I made one too! I used mango butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil and beeswax. I am keeping this one close by for face, lips and hands. It will be a great barrier for the colder temperatures and will soothe the skin. Thanks ladies!!
Inspired by a trio of blisters after my half ironman race in June, I made myself a blister salve to speed the healing. I used Grapeseed oil (rich in vitamins and minerals), Unrefined Shea butter (good for dry skin and wound care), Kpangnan butter (anti inflammatory and analgesic), unrefined beeswax (reduces inflammation and is anti bacterial) and an essential oil blend of Mastic (analgesic), Cistus (wound healing) and Helichrysum (wound healing and regenerative). Soon, I was on the mend! I’ve used this butter to help with an old knee injury and on a nasty bruise from a graceful walk into the side of my desk. This is one powerfully healing butter!
